School District of Manawa Draft Board of Education Policies
The School District of Manawa Board of Education has undertaken a yearlong process to update all of the Board of Education policies that serve as a guide for the oversight and management of the district. This process was done in collaboration with NEOLA, a company that specializes in helping “school leaders set direction through policy and address the policy implications and mandates of the ever-evolving laws and regulations from all levels of government.”
The draft policies are now available online in a searchable website for public review. You are invited to provide input to the Board of Education by noting your specific policy comments and making your suggestions on the following form by clicking here.
Public input on the policies will be accepted through Friday, January 22, 2016. Any final updates to the policies will be reviewed at the Board Policy and Personnel meeting scheduled for early February. The Board of Education will be adopting the new policies as a complete unit at their Regular Board of Education meeting on February 16, 2016. Once approved by the Board of Education, this new set of policies will replace those that are currently posted on the district’s webpage at: http://www.manawa.k12.wi.us/policies.cfm
